Goals:
With recent advances in gene sequencing efforts, it is critical to gain an
understanding of the interrelationship between sequence and structure, and
structure and function of proteins. This is best achieved with the aid of
computational methods in structural biology. Our goal in this course is to
provide enough background to allow students to use current results or software
from computational structural biology in their work or to begin pursuing
research in the area.
